Our Pre K and Transitional Kindergarten classes are designed to set your child up for success in elementary school while still preserving their childhood by encouraging creativity and curiosity by providing ample time for free play and discovery.
Our Pre K 1 classroom: The curriculum in this class is correlated to the Texas Pre K guidelines and tailored to meet each students needs. Group times are focused on the Pre K standards and small groups are utilized to enrich the standards or work on prerequisite skills.
Pre K 2/ Transitional Kindergarten: In this class, the first half of the school year follows curriculum based on the Texas Pre K guidelines, while the second half of the year is designed to cover many of the beginning to mid year Texas Kindergarten TEKS.
Both Pre-K classes, as well as our preschool class, are taught by degreed teachers. The thematic units are set up in a way to provide flexibility based upon the students’ interests and abilities.
